I wrote this when my husband was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. At the moment he was in surgery, my music collaborator,  Nancy Lau, etherically heard and wrote the music to it.  I used it as a mantra to send him loving healing energy.  I also used it to help him pass on two and a half years later.

I traveled around the world

And found you next to me

The universe was working hard

I could clearly see.

I had searched, it seemed, forever

To find a love like ours

We were meant to be together

To share our profound love

Through our entire lives

We stood strong side by side

Forever, together

Life’s lessons we would ride.

You carried me through life’s great fires  

I was shielded from the wind                

I nurtured you through your life’s storms

And held you in the end.

I sing these words up to the sky

Which carries them on wings:

I gave to you

    My heart,

    My love

    My soul,

    My everything
